Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ElectroCharger ("we", "us", "our"), operator of the ElectroCharger electric vehicle charging network in the Republic of Armenia, collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use the ElectroCharger mobile application. By registering an account, you confirm that you have read this Policy and agree to the processing of your personal data as described here. Personal data is processed in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Armenia on personal data protection.
2. Data We Collect
Account data: your email address, used to create and secure your account. Profile data: first and last name, phone number, and vehicle model that you provide when completing your profile. Location data: your device location, used while the app is in use to show nearby charging stations on the map. You can disable location access in your device settings. Charging data: history of your charging sessions, including station, connector type, energy consumed (kWh), duration, and cost. Technical data: device model, operating system version, app language, and diagnostic information needed to keep the app working reliably.
3. Purposes of Processing
We process your data to: create and manage your account; locate charging stations and start, monitor, and complete charging sessions; process payments for charging services; provide customer support; send service notifications related to your account and sessions; improve the quality, safety, and availability of our services; and comply with legal obligations.
4. Payment Data
Payments are processed by AmeriaBank CJSC through its vPOS payment system. When you save a card, it is bound (tokenized) on the bank’s side through our secure backend. The ElectroCharger application never stores, processes, or transmits your full card number, CVV, or other sensitive card details. We store only a masked card number (for example, **** 1234) and a secure payment token issued by the bank.
5. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with: AmeriaBank CJSC, to process payments and card bindings; charging network and station operators, to the extent needed to deliver charging services; and service providers who support our infrastructure under confidentiality obligations. We may also disclose data where required by the laws of the Republic of Armenia or by a lawful request of a competent authority.
6. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure servers. We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and regular security reviews. While we take all reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Retention
We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data, except where we are required to retain certain records (for example, payment and transaction records) for periods established by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; withdraw your consent to processing at any time; and lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Agency of the Republic of Armenia. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in the "Contact Us" section. Withdrawing consent may make it impossible to continue providing you with our services.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always available in the application and on this page, with the date of the latest update shown at the top. If changes are significant, we will notify you in the app. Continued use of the application after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
